Delia's has the best Mexican food anywhere around. Their guacamole is amazing, and I'm in love with anything with Barbacoa in it. My 9 yr old says the rice and cheese dip are the best she's ever had. (No watered down cheese chop here). The wait staff is awesome. We eat there at least once a week, and sometimes more. It's definitely our go-to for Mexican.

Great Mexican food at a great price. The food here is more authentic than at most other Mexican restaurants in the area. Great selection of beer on tap for Athens, more than most other restaurants in the area.

Just recently heard about Delias in Athens, so had to make a personal visit to determine if it was a place we'd frequent. Needless to say, my personal answer is YES!!! Great restaurant, neat and clean, excellent menu with many offerings, lower prices compared to other Mexican restaurants in Athens, staff is friendly and extremely efficient. This is a restaurant we will visit again and again. If you don't try Delias, you're missing out on terrific food and an enjoyable meal.

I have to admit, when I first drove by this place my first though was "Oh great. ANOTHER Mexican place"... We stopped in tonight to try it out, though. I am glad that we did! The majority of Mexican places around here are pretty good, with only a few exceptions. So, to gain an edge, a place needs to do something that the others don't. Or just do it better. This place seems to do both. First, the place is very nice, and clean. The service was great as well, we were greeted right away, and seated. The wait staff all wear headsets that allow them to communicate with each other and management- Which was kind of nice because they could ask questions about menu items without having to leave the table. The chips are fresh made, from flour tortillas rather than corn. Very good. The menu is pretty similar to the menu that you'd find at most Mexican places. I had the Molcajete, which came with Chicken, Steak, Chorizo, Shrimp, peppers, onion, and cactus, covered in grated chese It was VERY good, and the portion was large. It was served with three fresh flour tortillas. My wife had an el pastor burrito that was smothered in cheese sauce (Her favorite!). It was good- cooked and seasoned well. Mine came with a side of black beans and rice. It wasn't the Spanish rice that you often get at these places, but was excellent. The beans were good, too- But I didn't have much room for them after the Molcajete. The kid had a chicken quesadilla. It must have been good, too- Because it didn't last long enough for me to try it. We'll be going back for sure! There were a few more menu items that I want to try.
